Sustainable yet uncompromisingly powerful?
PAGEL® evoline
PAGEL® evoline: Up to 75% less CO₂ – without offsetting
Sustainable construction means above all: avoiding emissions before they arise. That is precisely why we have added PAGEL® evoline to our range as a new product line for genuine CO₂ reduction in manufacturing, without offset certificates and without compromising on performance.
Genuine CO₂ reduction through innovative cement technology
With evoZero® cement and our technology partnership with Heidelberg Materials, we are focusing on a decisive lever: carbon capture and storage (CCS). This involves capturing CO₂ during cement production and storing it permanently – instead of releasing it into the atmosphere.
Your advantages with PAGEL® evoline
- Up to 75% lower carbon footprint
- Emissions avoidance instead of compensation
- evoZero®-Zement + CCS-technology
- Same quality and performance as usual
- Planning and execution reliability for demanding construction projects
CO₂-reduced concrete without compromise: PAGEL® evoline with evoZero®
Sustainable construction is now a key award criterion, especially for planners, architects, public clients and construction companies. At the same time, technical performance, durability and workability must not be compromised.
At PAGEL, we combine both: with PAGEL® evoline, we offer CO₂-reduced concrete and high-performance special mortars based on evoZero® Carbon Captured Cement (CCS cement) from Heidelberg Materials. The result: significantly lower CO₂ balances without compromising on quality, durability, workability or versatility.
What is evoZero®? CCS cement from the Brevik CCS project
Brevik CCS: CO₂ capture and storage on an industrial scale
In the Brevik CCS project in Norway, CO₂ is captured directly at the cement plant, prepared for transport and then permanently stored. This creates CCS cement, whose carbon footprint can be significantly reduced – a decisive lever for sustainable construction.
EACs: Verifiable CO₂ reduction instead of ‘green claims’
An important question in tenders is: How is CO₂ reduction verified and how is double counting avoided?
This is where Environmental Attribute Certificates (EACs) come into play. These certificates document that specific, actually captured and stored amounts of CO₂ can be transparently allocated. This creates verifiability for project communication, reporting and tender documents.
Carbon Bank (DNV-certified): Transparency and security
The allocation of CO₂ quantities is carried out via a carbon bank, in which CO₂ attribute entries and removals are tracked in a transparent manner. Crucially, the system has been audited by DNV Business Assurance, which is a strong argument for projects subject to auditing and verification requirements.
PAGEL® evoline: Up to 75% CO₂ reduction
At PAGEL, we use evoZero® specifically in our PAGEL® evoline product line to significantly reduce the carbon footprint in concrete by up to 75%.
Important for practical use:
- No loss of performance: full technical performance
- High reliability: quality and durability at PAGEL level!
- Wide range of applications: for demanding special concrete and mortar applications (project-specific)
Advantage for sustainable tenders and climate-conscious construction projects
For tenderers and clients, the following factors are now more important than ever:
- measurable CO₂ reduction
- verifiable evidence
- solution-oriented feasibility on the construction site
With PAGEL® evoline, we provide a reliable, technically sound response to these requirements: CO₂-reduced concrete that can be convincingly justified in sustainable projects without compromising on performance.
